Employee Training
EAP trainers can work with individual work units or departments that may be experiencing a number of challenges such as lack of teamwork, uncooperativeness among workers, or low morale.
Many people are challenged when faced with being a member of a multi-dimensional and multi-cultural team. EAP can help employees learn how to be a cooperative contributing member of a diverse team. We can help employees develop the skills to work as a collaborative team to achieve shared work goals.
Management and Supervisor Training and Support
EAP can assist and coach managers in dealing with difficult employee situations. Consultation with managers can help the manager develop skills to intervene and refer employees to EAP. Assistance and training is available in conflict negotiation, dealing with volatile situations and how to recognize the potential for violence in the workplace.
Working with Difficult People
Managers and supervisors may refer employees for assistance who may have demonstrated a decline in work performance or productivity, exhibited inappropriate workplace behavior that may affect team relations in the work unit, or are experiencing chronic absenteeism or tardiness.
EAP can assist with difficult employee situations through consultation or coaching in how to approach, intervene and refer for help. Assistance and training is available for management, supervisors and team leaders in conflict resolution and defusing volatile situations in the work environment.
